Wine party!

I used these for my Bday invites Got round cork coasters with adhesive back from Laser Reproductions. The nice thing about these coasters is that they were thin and inexpensive to ship.

Then I printed the invite on photo paper (wine stain I found on google) and used a circle cutter to try to cut the photo as best I could to match the coaster... took a few times ;)

Peel adhesive backing, stick on invite and viola!

Baby Shower Cupcakes

They may look good but they tasted... eh :(
Buttercream frosting was TOO buttery. I later read the reviews on the receipe and people noted using crisco/shortening would lessen the overly butter taste. oops
Also, this was my first time making choco cupcakes from scratch... not exactly the smartest idea of mine since the kitchen and I are mortal enemies. The choco cake was dry. I was told jello pudding would've made them really moist. I say next time get the "Super Moist" Pillsbury boxed cake... and done!

At least it all looked cute :)

A great Bridal Shower idea (c/o Nina Viera Cullen)

Baby Shower Cookies

I used a Butter Icing for Cookies recipe from Allrecipes.com. The consistancy was perfect to use as like fondant so I was able to roll it out and then use the same cookie cutters for the dough as for the icing.
